Virginia Association of Addiction Professionals (VAAP)
Mission Statement
The Virginia Association of Addiction Professionals (formerly the Virginia Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors) was formed to promote the advancement of Alcoholism and Drug Counseling through the Professional Code of Ethics of the Association, and the adoption of standards of competence which will insure the highest quality of counseling treatment to help persons who have problems related to the use of alcohol and/or other drugs.
VAAP was founded in 1972.
