ALEXANDRIA, VA – Make a difference by nominating a passionate, skilled, and dedicated addiction professional for the NAADAC Executive Leadership team! Nominations are now open for the following Executive Committee and Regional Vice-President positions: President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Mid-Atlantic Regional Vice-President, Mid-South Regional Vice President, Northeast Regional Vice-President, and Northwest Regional Vice-President. Nominations are due by 5:00 pm EST on January 31, 2016.

All nominees must receive a copy of this completed form and approve of the nomination for submission prior to the submission deadline. All NAADAC members will receive nomination information exactly as listed on this form via the NAADAC website, a dedicated email, and in the Spring 2016 issue of NAADAC's magazine, Advances in Addiction & Recovery.
Only members in good standing who have been actively engaged in work in addiction counseling or as an addiction professional for at least two years immediately prior to nomination shall be eligible for an elective office with the Association. Candidates for NAADAC officer positions (President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer) must be nominated by a member of a state or national board. Nominees for the position of Regional Vice President must represent a state wherein an Affiliated State Association is in place and may only be nominated for a region in which they reside. Nominees from each region should come from a state Affiliate other than the state of the incumbent RVP unless a qualified nominee from another state in the region cannot be found.
