NAADAC's Statement on the Senate Healthcare Votes

NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, has issued the following statement on the Senate healthcare votes:

NAADAC commends the Senators who voted against the BCRA and those who voted against the repeal of the ACA. In the coming hours and days, the Senate will likely be asked again and again to vote to protect the lives of millions. Call, email, and tweet your Senators to urge them to vote NO on any bill or repeal effort that could limit healthcare coverage for those who are struggling with addiction, co-occurring disorders, or mental health disorders. We urge legislators on both sides of the aisle to work together to find improvements and workable fixes within the framework of the ACA.
