NAADAC Partners with Orion and OakTree to Offer a New Workforce Development Solution to the Field

NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, has partnered with Orion Healthcare Technology and OakTree Collaborative to offer a web-based professional development software system designed for addictions, mental health, substance use disorder and peer recovery professionals. This partnership will help build the foundation for a model that will positively impact workforce development and growth of professionals and agencies in these fields.

Marketed under the name of OakTree Supervision, the tool allows individuals or agencies to effectively use a single system to manage their credentials, supervision, competencies, individual development, wellness plans, and reporting for analytics and decision support.

“We are honored to contribute to the NAADAC mission of professional development and supervision,” said Sandra Jones, President and Owner of OakTree Collaborative. “I am excited to see how NAADAC members can benefit and how we can continue to provide innovative solutions to support their essential work as well as the rest of the profession.”

“It has been almost two decades that the vision to have a more efficient and effective method to track clinical supervision, clinician development and individual development plans has been in the making, and finally, with Oaktree, we have reached that goal!” said Cynthia Moreno Tuohy, BSW, NCAC II, CDC III, SAP, Executive Director of NAADAC. “NAADAC is very pleased to partner with OakTree on this innovative method that will reduce paperwork, time and energy and give clear pathways for clinical growth and tracking of the same. If I were administrating a treatment facility, this would be a must in increasing efficiency and support!”

Orion and OakTree bring over 30 years of experience in healthcare technology, product development, and professional services, to combine with NAADAC’s unmatched representation of the entire addiction counseling, education and other healthcare professional field. All will be a major factor in the anticipated success of this solution.
