NAADAC is accepting nominations for the following Executive Committee and Regional Vice-President positions:
- President-Elect
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Mid-Atlantic Regional Vice-President
- Mid-South Regional Vice President
- Northeast Regional Vice-President
- Northwest Regional Vice-President
Required Qualifications:
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: Candidates for NAADAC Officer positions must be nominated by a member of a state or national board.
President-Elect
- The ability to perform and fulfill all the duties and functions of the President as enumerated and described by the NAADAC Bylaws and Policies and Procedures
- Current NAADAC Professional membership in good standing
- A minimum of two years of active engagement in the addiction recovery profession immediately prior to the nomination
- A minimum of two years of experience on either the NAADAC Board of Directors or a NAADAC Affiliate Board (State/Chapter/International)
- Previous experience serving on the NCC AP or having chaired a standing NAADAC committee
Secretary
- The ability to perform and fulfill all the duties and functions of the Secretary as enumerated and described by the NAADAC Bylaws and Policies and Procedures.
- Current NAADAC Professional membership in good standing
- A minimum of two years of active engagement in the addiction recovery profession immediately prior to the nomination
- A minimum of two years of experience on either the NAADAC Board of Directors or a NAADAC Affiliate Board (State/Chapter/International)
- Previous experience serving on the NCC AP or having chaired a standing NAADAC committee
Treasurer
- The ability to perform and fulfill all the duties and functions of the Treasurer as enumerated and described by the NAADAC Bylaws and Policies and Procedures
- Current NAADAC Professional membership in good standing
- A minimum of two years of active engagement in the addiction recovery profession immediately prior to the nomination
- A minimum of two years of experience on either the NAADAC Board of Directors or a NAADAC Affiliate Board (State/Chapter/International)
- Previous experience serving on the NCC AP or having chaired a standing NAADAC committee
REGIONAL VICE-PRESIDENTS: Candidates for the position of Regional Vice-President must represent a state wherein an Affiliated State Association is in place and may only be nominated for a region in which they reside. Nominees from each region should come from a state other than the state of the incumbent RVP unless a qualified nominee from another state in the region cannot be found.
Regional Vice-President
- The ability to perform and fulfill all the duties and functions of an RVP as enumerated and described by the NAADAC Bylaws and Policies and Procedures
- Current NAADAC Professional membership in good standing
- A minimum of two years of active engagement in the addiction recovery profession immediately prior to the nomination
- A minimum of two years of experience on either the NAADAC Board of Directors or a NAADAC Affiliate Board (State/Chapter/International)
- Reside and work in the region represented
