Jennifer Velotta, NAADAC's Programs Manager, represented NAADAC at the 2019 Bridging the Gap Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia on May 20-24, 2019. NAADAC is a partnering organization with the NBCC Foundation to provide education and mentoring support to the Addiction Counselor Fellowship program funded by SAMHSA. “NAADAC Overview and Other Resources for Addiction Counselors” was given to 85 of the 2018 and 2019 MFP-AC fellows during a working lunch presentation. NAADAC had an exhibit table to distribute NAADAC materials and answer any questions and Velotta spoke with many of the conference's 325 attendees about NAADAC and its mission.
