Idaho NAADAC

REVITALIZATION OF THE NAADAC IDAHO AFFILIATE IS ENTERING A NEW PHASE AND WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Idaho NAADAC President Lindsey Hofhine, along with an Advisory Committee consisting of NAADAC members from Idaho, have been discussing the many challenges facing Idaho addiction professionals, from workforce development, to ensuring that funds are available to provide the much needed prevention & treatment for youth and adults statewide. We all agree that a strong local and national voice for the addiction profession is needed in Idaho.

Our next step:
NAADAC will oversee an election for the revitalized board of the Idaho affiliate. Once a board has been voted on by the NAADAC Idaho membership, bylaws and policies & procedures will be developed, and a formal affiliate agreement will be signed with NAADAC.

We are pleased to announce that the following members of the Advisory Committee are interested in being a part of the founding board for Idaho:

  • President: Lindsey Hofhine, MEd, LPC, MAC, ADADC
  • President-Elect: Monica Forbes, NCPRSS, CPRC-Supervisor, MA
  • Secretary: Jenny Teigen, CPSS, CPRC
  • Treasurer: Patrick O'Neal, LCPC
  • Regional Representative: John Condron, MS, LCPC, MAC

If you are interested in promoting the statewide effort and would like to be added to the slate, please forward an application and resume to elections@naadac.org no later than Monday, March 30th. All current NAADAC members in Idaho are eligible.

The slate will be closed as of Monday, March 30, 2020 at midnight EST and a ballot will be sent to all current Idaho NAADAC members for a final vote.

2020 promises to be a busy and productive year for our Idaho affiliate. We look forward to working together to help promote the addiction profession!
