Description
The content areas for this free webinar will focus on diagnostic parameters of sexual and cyber sex addiction, healthy vs. unhealthy sexual behavior, addictive sexual behavior patterns and consequences of cybersex addiction. Attendees will also be introduced to content for working with the core beliefs of the sexual co-addicted and counselor preparation for working with sexually addicted clients.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- differentiate diagnostic considerations for sexual addiction;
- identify behaviors of the sexually addicted;
- comprehend the consequences and treatment considerations of sexual addiction; and
- assess counselor preparation for working with the sexually addicted.

Presenter

Don Osborn, PhD, LCAC MAC, is the Immediate Past President of NAADAC, and former Regional Vice President of the Mid Central Region. Don is the Chair of the NAADAC Professional Practices and Standards Committee. He also assisted in the creation of, and later served as Commissioner of the National Addiction Studies Accreditation Commission. Don is the Director and Professor of the Graduate Addictions Counseling Program at Indiana Wesleyan University. He also serves on the Behavioral Science and Human Services Licensure Board in Indiana. Don is a national presenter and consultant in addictions studies in higher education, scopes of practice, legal and ethical issues, clinical supervision, research, and assisting states in the legislative process for addictions counseling licensure.
