Shuttle Information

A motorcoach will provide transportation for Hill Day attendees on Thursday, March 9. It will depart at 7:30am from the Bethesda Marriott at 5151 Pooks Hill Road, Bethesda, MD and head to the U.S. Capitol building. After dropping off guests, the motorcoach will stay on Capitol Hill premises until 1:00pm, when it will return to the Bethesda Marriott to drop off anyone who has finished their Capitol Hill visits. It will return to Capitol Hill to pick up additional guests at 3:00pm and then make a final 5:00pm departure from Capitol Hill back to the hotel.

Schedule

7:30am – Depart Bethesda Marriott and arrive at Capitol Hill
1:00pm – Depart Capitol Hill, drop guests at Bethesda Marriott, and return to Capitol Hill
3:00pm – Depart Capitol Hill, drop guests at Bethesda Marriott, and return to Capitol Hill
5:00pm – Depart Capitol Hill and drop guests at Bethesda Marriott

The motorcoach is equipped with restrooms and wi-fi.


How Do I Get CEs?

To earn CE Certificates for attending the various sessions, you will need to complete an online evaluation and pass the one-question attendance verification quiz for each session. The links to access the CE quizzes will be made available on the NAADAC website on the first day of the conference. Instructions on how to access CEs will also be emailed to you after the conference.

The 2021 Advocacy in Action Conference featured a special Advocacy 101 training presented by NAADAC Co-Chairs Sherri Layton, LCDC, CCS, and Michael Kemp, NCAC I, ICS, CSAC, CSW and featuring The Honorable Alan Wheat, Former Member of Congress from Missouri, for a mock-Hill visit. Due to overwhelming request from the attendees of the conference, we are making the session available for all to view!
