VAADAC Mission Statement
The Virginia Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors was formed to promote the advancement of Alcoholism and Drug Counseling through the Professional Code of Ethics of the Association, and the adoption of standards of competence which will insure the highest quality of counseling treatment to help persons who have problems related to the use of alcohol and/or other drugs.

May 19 Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory (SASSI) training

 How the SASSI was developed and how it should be used.
Administration & scoring of the adult & adolescent questionnaire.
Basic knowledge of the individual scales.  

No prior experience with the SASSI required. 
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to use both the adult (SASSI-3) and adolescent (SASSI-A2) versions of the SASSI as an addictions screening tool.
