This course will provide an overview of the core components to delivering services online that follow the best standard of care. A review of best practices will be offered that include such issues as proper informed consent, delivering services that are confidential and HIPAA compliant. Proper client screening will be reviewed within the context of cyberculture. Legal and ethical issues will be discussed including scope of practice, licensure, crossing state lines and maintaining a professional online presence. A review of appropriate website content and proper use of social media will be offered.

Session Goals
1. Identify and Connect with the Vulnerable Child Mode, freeing them from longstanding emotional burdens and frustrated early unmet needs.
2. Help the Vulnerable Child to get those needs met in an adaptive way—through  (limited) re-parenting from the therapy relationship, the Healthy Adult Mode, and from a partner’s Healthy Adult Mode.

This exciting two-day workshop is intended for psychotherapists who have attended at least two days of training in GST. The focus is on practicing the advanced interventions of GST. This includes trainer demonstrations, and group role-play practice for participants with observation, coaching and feedback. It also includes exercises to help participants be aware of and work with their schemas and modes that are triggered in the intense environment of the group.
