Integrating Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders: An Introduction to What Every Addiction Counselor Needs to Know
Presented by Mary Ryan Woods, RNC, LADC, MSHS

This skill-based training program will help addiction counselors improve their ability to assist clients who have co-occurring disorders, within their scope of practice. This educational program introduce the integrated model of mental health and addiction treatment services, outlining how to utilize current substance abuse treatment best practices when working with this population. Through the use of case studies and interactive exercises, participants will feel more comfortable and competent in addressing mental health issues with clients who have co-occurring disorders.

Registration for the NAADAC 2013 Annual Pre-Conference includes a pre-conference session, continental breakfast and breaks.

Maximum CEs for October 11: six hours
