Electronic Health/Medical Record
The government desires companies or individuals in private practice to use electronic health/Medical records.  So far thru my research, the companies offering this system are for large organizations not for a sole provider.  I know the government is offering doctors $44,000 over 4 years to switch to electronic health records but they have to have many licensed individuals in the practice.  I want to know about a business that has only one licensed business.  I know if the cost is above several hundred dollars I will be out of business.  Is there any hope?
Well, I recognize that this post is VERY late to your question, but I was recently told by a colleague about a free online electronic medical record. I haven't used it yet, but she has. It is designed for a primary physician, but it has been used by those in the behavioral health fields. Try www.practicefusion.com
