She holds a Master's degree in Counseling and is certified as a Certified Clinical Addiction Counselor, Certified Clinical Supervisor, Master Addiction Counselor, Certified Criminal Justice Professional and Substance Abuse Professional. Coyer has served on the WVAADC board for the past ten years. She has chaired the Membership Committee, Regional Training Seminar Committee and Conference Committee. She has also held the offices of Secretary and President-Elect. She has also served on the NAADAC Board of Directors representing West Virginia for the past four years. Taylor has been involved in the field of addiction for over 26 years. Aside from being the Director of Dr. Lee Jones Miracles Happen Center, he was the Director of a men's facility and a woman's facility in Ohio prior to coming to work for HealthWays. Anderson, MA, LPC, CCAC, MAC is a therapist, and director of counseling services for the Davis-Stuart, Inc., on-campus facility in Lewisburg, W.Va. He is a graduate of Concord College, and the W.Va. College of Graduate Studies, (Marshall University Graduate College), with a Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling. Stewart's credentials include Licensed Professional Counselor; Certified Clinical Addictions Counselor; Master Addictions Counselor and Accredited Licensed Professional Supervisor. He has spent over 25 years involved in the fields of human services, health care, mental health and substance abuse/addictions treatment services. Anderson has significant clinical experience providing treatment to mental health and substance abuse/addiction populations, in inpatient, outpatient and residential treatment settings. He has been a member of the WVAADAC Board for three years, and has served as Treasurer of the Association since January, 2006. He has been a mental health professional for over 20 years and has worked in the field of addictions since 1991. He also holds LSW and QSAP credentials. Jim received a BA from West Virginia State University and a Master's degree in Counseling from West Virginia University College of Graduate Studies. He has been a member of WVAADC since 1992 and a board member for the past five years, currently serving as Secretary. She is a native West Virginian and hails from Summersville, Nicholas County. She currently resides in Clarksburg, W.Va. Acree completed her undergraduate work in Youth Services at W.Va. Wesleyan college and the Merrill Palmer Institute in Detroit, Mich. She completed her graduate degree at West Virginia University. She has worked in the mental health/substance abuse field for 29 years as a therapist, clinical supervisor and program manager. She has experience working with prevention, intervention and treatment for children, adolescents and adults. She is currently the Regional Director for CRC Health Group, which owns and operates seven Opiate Treatment Programs in West Virginia. She was previously the Director of the Clarksburg Treatment Center. Wagner has worked at Burlington Family Services, Pressley Ridge Schools and at United Summit Center. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work from West Virginia University and is a Licensed Certified Social Worker. She also belongs to the Academy of Certified Social Workers. Wagner has served on the WVAADC board for over a year. She is chair of the 2007 Conference Committee and was co-chair in 2006. She has 25 years experience in addictions and mental health treatment and holds a Bachelors Degree in nursing from Wheeling Jesuit College and a Master of Arts in Counseling from West Virginia University. She has experience as a nurse, administrator and therapist in inpatient and outpatient treatment settings, is a certified psychiatric/mental health nurse and a nationally certified gambling counselor. She also has a CAC, CCAC-S, CCJP and is a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Substance Abuse Professional. She is a former chair of the Regional Training Seminars Committee and is currently serving on the WVAADC Board of Directors as Ethics Chair. You need JavaScript enabled to view it 304.744.2021 Biography Nancy Burkhammer, M.A. LPC CCAC NCC MAC, the chair of the Membership Committee, has served the addictions field since 1988, when she became employed at SouthWay Treatment Center, Thomas Memorial Hospital, in South Charleston, W.Va., for five years. She became a licensed professional counselor and began her private practice in 1992. Nancy specializes in chemical addictions, codependency issues and dual diagnosis treatment, as well as mental health issues. She received her master's degree in counseling in 1989 from the former W.Va. College of Graduate Studies and is working toward a master's in social work from West Virginia University. She served previously on the Board of Directors from 1998-2002 during which she was Nominations Committee chair and editor of Professional Contact, WVAADC's newsletter. Besides NAADAC, she also belongs to the American Counseling Association, the National Association of Social Workers, the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Mental Health Association in the Greater Kanawha Valley. He served as Clinical Coordinator for SouthWay Treatment Center at Thomas Memorial Hospital for over 13 years. He is currently Network Development Director with APS Healthcare, Inc. – W.Va. Joe has been a member of the WVAADC Board of Directors for over ten years and was a past president of WVAADC. Deegan presently serves as co-chair of the WVAADC Public Policy Committee. He has also served as Public Policy Chairman for NAADAC and currently holds the position of NAADAC PAC Committee Chairman. He has been a West Virginia LPC and a West Virginia CAC since 1991. He is a substance abuse and metal health counselor at the New River Health Association, primary care clinic in Fayette County, W.Va. He graduated with his master's degree in counseling from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1986 and has been a WVAADC Board member since 1997. He has been editor of WVAADC's newsletter, Professional Contact for the last four years. Thompson also has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law and practiced law in Virginia and Texas from 1973-81. Randy has worked extensively in the field of social services, behavioral health and non-profit management and has served on the West Virginia Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (WVAADC) board of directors as Public Policy Committee Co-Chair for the past four years. Housh is also a board member on the WV Mental Health Planning Council (WVMHPC) serving on the Children's Services Committee. Over the past seven years Randy has conducted over 500 workshops and seminars, training some 7,000 professional and paraprofessional staff on subjects pertaining to staff development, leadership, teambuilding, conflict management and numerous other subjects relating to behavioral health and addiction. In 2004, Housh received training certification from the W.Va. Office of Behavioral Health and Health Facilities in the Psychological Impact of Natural Disaster and Terrorism and in 2006 received certification as a Prevention/Relationship Enhancement Program Instructor. His high energy, motivational style has made him a favorite among businesses, state organizations and non-profits throughout W.Va. and the eastern United States. She is also a certified gambling counselor and a certified smoking cessation facilitator.
