Seabrook House, a nationally recognized drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility, is currently seeking a full-time Primary Counselor at their Westfield, Pennsylvania Transitional Living Facility (Seabrook West) located in the beautiful mountains of Northern Pennsylvania. This position will perform bio-psychosocial interviews, diagnostic evaluations, individual counseling, group counseling, to assist and provide support to patients during recovery. Requirements include a Bachelors’ degree in a related field (Masters’ degree preferred); must be a CADC or CAC and possess at least three years’ experience as a clinician in an organization providing services to populations seeking drug and alcohol rehabilitation modeling and utilizing the 12-Step principles of recovery; must possess a valid drivers’ license.

Clinical Supervisor of Substance Abuse Evaluation Services

Currently, University Behavioral Associates of Montefiore Medical Center  in Bronx, New York, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor of Substance Abuse Evaluation Services (L.C.S.W or Senior Level C.A.S.A.C.) to lead the evaluation component of our innovative program for welfare-to-work clients with a history of substance abuse and other barriers to employment.

The Supervisor will be responsible for hiring, training and overseeing a multidisciplinary Evaluation Team, and will also be an integral member of our Management structure.  The Supervisor's primary duty will be to lead the Evaluation Team in making clinically informed decisions about the employability of each client, and in referring for the level and type of substance abuse treatment that is needed to facilitate that aim.  Principles of motivational interviewing are woven into all aspects of our evaluation, referral and care management processes.

ADDICTIONS COUNSELOR - ANTIGUA

Crossroads Centre, Antigua is an international rehabilitation facility that provides treatment care for persons who suffer with addictions. Our facility is located at Willoughby Bay, St. Phillips, Antigua.

 

We are seeking to employ a fulltime Addictions Counselor who will be responsible for providing professional primary treatment care services to our clients. The applicant should:

  • Have at a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a counseling related field, although a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Have an addiction counselor certification from a recognized certification board.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of direct counseling experience in a drug and alcohol treatment environment with at least two years in a residential treatment setting.  Experience working with dual disordered clients preferred.  If recovering must have at least 5 years of continuous recovery and sobriety.
