Mission

AUSAP is Utah's organization for local substance abuse professionals and others serving individuals who may suffer from the disease of addiction. It is the only organization in the state that is certified to represent the Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (LSAC) Professional and provides services such as credentialing, certifying, testing, on-going training and education.

A meeting of national addiction certification boards meeting will be held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 18, 2009.

NAADAC has called this meeting to help board members become better acquainted with each other and to evaluate how we all can best serve the addictions disorders profession in today’s changing environment.
