- Appropriate and affordable treatment for this disease should be available to any and everyone who needs it.
- Alcohol & Drug Addiction is a family disease, and appropriate, affordable help should be available to family members.
- Many adverse affects of Alcohol & Drug abuse are manageable through education, counseling, and prevention.
- Alcohol & Drug Addiction is misunderstood by many individuals and groups. We make ourselves responsible to educate and inform about the disease, its effect on our society, and the beliefs of appropriate treatment and prevention.
- FL/NAADAC is committed to promoting and using research-based best practices in all our teaching programs.
- FL/NAADAC is committed to helping the Counselor stay abreast of the latest information on addiction and ever changing new drugs.
- Fl/NAADAC will offer trainings around the state that are convenient for the counselor.
- Alcohol & Drugs have an adverse impact on our society including, medical, education, insurance, criminal justice system, therefore we must educate our communities to achieve solutions.
- The work of FL/NAADAC should include providing training to the counselor, prevention, advocacy at the State and National levels, and a forum to exchange knowledge and ideas.
