The NAADAC Speakers Bureau replaces the NAADAC Trainers Academy, which was launched in 2004.

NAADAC Speakers Bureau
As a benefit to members, NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, has formed a Speakers Bureau intended to showcase the skills and expertise of NAADAC members and other skilled professionals.

Who Can Apply For The NAADAC Speakers Bureau?
The Speakers Bureau is open to all NAADAC members. Non-NAADAC members can apply for $150 for a 12-month listing.

What Skill Areas is NAADAC Looking For?
Speakers can list up to three areas or expertise. The areas you list should be relevant to current practice in the addiction services profession. These topics include, but are not limited to:

What are the Benefits of Participating in the NAADAC Speakers Bureau?

  • You will receive a listing on the NAADAC website as a member of the Speakers Bureau. For NAADAC members, your listing is a free benefit of NAADAC membership.

There is no deadline to apply; applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed within 2-4 weeks. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Qualified trainers will be listed online at www.naadac.org.

Does NAADAC Endorse These Speakers?
Please note: this service is a listing only. NAADAC does not endorse any participants in the Speakers Bureau. Participants who have received NAADAC Approval indicates that a speaker has evidenced his or her specialized skills in a specific area or areas of expertise.

Am I Guaranteed Speaking Engagements?
The NAADAC Speakers Bureau is simply a listing and does not make any guarantees to its participants. Members of the Speakers Bureau who have participated in the NAADAC Approval process will be favorable judges in application to present at NAADAC annual Conferences.

What is the NAADAC Approval Process?
NAADAC will assess experienced speakers and may provide Speakers Bureau members with NAADAC Approval, as a sign of a vetted Speaker who has evidenced his or her specialized skills in a specific area or areas of expertise. The Approval Process cost $50 and takes 4-6 weeks to complete. NAADAC Approval is optional.
