Creating an Awareness Perspective Free OASAS Sponsored Regional Trainings August 14-15, 2013 Cortland, NY
Trauma-informed care is an approach to engaging people with histories of trauma that recognizes the presence of trauma symptoms and acknowledges the role that trauma has played in their lives. This training is designed as a practical overview and will cover Trauma-Informed Care from the perspective of how to create strengths-based environments and practices that allow for participant/survivor empowerment.
Participants are required to attend the full 12 hours of training to receive a certificate of completion. There will be no tuition charge for this training.
