This intensive, four-day workshop covers the nature of trauma, the distressing consequences of traumatic incidents, and the three techniques in the Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) model that help to reduce, and in many cases, permanently eliminate these symptoms, whether the client has full-blown PTSD or not. Participants are trained in this client-centered, non-judgmental, non-hypnotic, non-intrusive, one-on-one, directive techniques to provide a safe environment for recovery of previously unavailable pieces of traumatic incidents. Once recovered, these memories are no longer triggering and the person is no longer burdened by them.
Anyone who has a sincere desire to help others, and agrees to abide by the Rules of Facilitation, may take this workshop. There are no prerequisites and no college degree is required. Techniques can be utilized after workshop completion; no other training is required but is available.
