| May 28-31 | Sons of Tradition Training May 28-30th, 2013 8 am — 5 pm Walker, Minn. Cost: $550.00 24 continuing education credits through NAADAC Provide training for adults to help initiate and implement change in the community. Many communities have long standing issues resulting from the effects of historical trauma, boarding schools, loss of language, land and culture. This curriculum is developed for Native American boys ages 13-17. It is designed to coincide with the school year and other weekly programs, and also over the summer months. The focus of this program is establishing identity and learning what it is to be a Native American man. The curriculum is based upon the teachings of the Native American Elders and Clan Mothers.
