Presenter:

Tom Durham Thomas Durham, PhD, has been in involved in the substance abuse treatment field since 1974 as a counselor, clinical supervisor, program director and educator. He is currently assigned to an international training project with the US Department of State as Senior Curriculum Developer and Trainer with JBS International. Previously at JBS he coordinated the delivery of technical assistance to substance use disorder treatment programs that serve people living with HIV/AIDS. Prior to joining JBS he was the Executive Director of the Danya Institute, a federal grantee operating one of the Addiction Technology Transfer Centers in the US.  Dr. Durham also served as the project director for the Clinical Preceptorship Program, a position he held for over 20 years coordinating a network of clinical supervisors and trainers for counselors throughout the U.S. Navy’s drug and alcohol program. For over 25 years he has conducted training on a variety of topics relevant to substance abuse treatment with a particular emphasis on clinical supervision.
