The National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals (NCC AP) offers nationally recognized credentials specifically for addiction professionals. The NCC AP operates as an independent credentialing body, and managing credentials and additional services, including test administration, certification standards, ethics codes of conduct and rules of credentialing development and procedure.

Note: Certification through the NCC AP and membership in NAADAC are distinct. Although NAADAC members receive a discount on certifications through the NCC AP, certification does not automatically make one a NAADAC member.
