What certifications do NAADAC offer? NAADAC offers many certifications for both member and non-member addiction professionals. What are the requirements for NAADAC certification? Each level of certification has different requirements. Details about these requirements can be found by clicking on the title of each credential listed here.
How much does certification cost? Certification costs vary depending upon the level of certification requested and membership standing with NAADAC. View the complete listing of prices.
What is the difference between my state certification and NAADAC certification? Certain states allow counselors to use the NAADAC certification for the state certification as well. In other states, where the NAADAC certification cannot serve as a state certification, applicants must be certified by their respective state before taking the NAADAC test and applying for national certification.

Where do I get applications to take the certification test? You can register to take our examination through Professional Testing Corporation. PTC administers the tests on NAADAC's behalf. Information regarding test dates, eligibility, fees, test centers and applications can be found on the homepage for each credential listed here.
Who do I send my completed certification applications to? Upon successful completion of the certification test (or if you are already certified in your state), download and complete the application. Send the completed application and the additional requested materials to:

How much are recertification fees for NAADAC certification? Recertification fees are $125 for members of NAADAC and $225 for non-members of NAADAC.
