Addiction Educator of the Year Print

 

 

This award is presented to the educator who has made an outstanding contribution to addiction education. Members of NAADAC's Executive Committee are not eligible for this award. This award is currentlybeing reviewed by the NAADAC Executive Committee and applications are not being accepted.

Eligibility Requirements



This award is presented based on the following criteria:

Nominees must:

1. Be currently employed in the education of the addiction profession and actively working as such for a minimum of five (5) years prior to receiving this award.
2. Be an active member in good standing of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals (i.e., the individual must be a voting member as opposed to an honorary member or nonvoting member).
3. Have demonstrated to the satisfaction of one's peers full compliance and support of NAADAC's Code of Ethics.

Nominating Information

1. Each NAADAC affiliate is encouraged to submit a nominee, although only one nominee per state affiliate will be considered.
2. To nominate an individual for this award, nominators should submit a letter of recommendation stating how the nominee fulfills the award criteria, submit a resume from the nominated individual and submit three (3) letters of support.
