NAADAC Partnerships Lead to Hawaii Conferences NAADAC and four local partners are bringing an unprecedented educational session to Hawaii. The twin conferences, Balancing the Entanglement - Pain, Co-Occurring Disorders and Prescription Drugs, will bring a two-day conference program to Maui and Oahu in October. NAADAC, which represents the professional interests of more than 75,000 addiction counselors, educators and other addiction-focused health care professionals in the United States, Canada and abroad, will join with the Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii, the State of Hawaii Department of Health Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division, the National Asian Pacific American Families Against Substance Abuse (NAPAFASA) and the Hawaii Association of Addiction and Drug Abuse Counselors for two sessions of the conference Balancing the Entanglement: Pain, Co-Occurring Disorders and Prescription Drugs.
