ALEXANDRIA, Va. - NAADAC has awarded 60 scholarships for its 2012 national conference, Leading the Way, in Indianapolis. Professionals from 24 states received support, totaling over $25,000.

The conference, the first hosted by NAADAC since 2009, offers a unique educational experience for addiction focused-professionals and provides up to 30 continuing education credits. Along with its 14 partners, NAADAC is please to be able to provide top-notch education by the nation's thought leaders.

NAADAC is proud to present the scholarships to professionals around the nation who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference, with the support of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

NAADAC received 106 and requests for support and was able to help more than half of the applicants.
