NAADAC is pleased to announce that Orion Healthcare Technology is our preferred provider for electronic health records (EHR). For the past two years, NAADAC has been investigating EHR systems that include clinical, billing and outcomes modules. Under the guidance of George Joseph, the NAADAC Organizational Member delegate, NAADAC searched for a program that could serve small and large treatment centers and state level systems.

"Orion Healthcare Technology’s EHR system, Accucare, will assist our members in building their capabilities with a variety of modules to collect client intake, complete assessments and progress notes, provide data analysis and outcomes and submit billings for private, third party and Medicaid reimbursement at a time when health information technology is essential as we move forward in the health care environment," stated Cynthia Moreno Tuohy, NAADAC’s Executive Director.

"With the implementation of AccuCare, Orion Healthcare Technology will provide to our members, free of charge, technical assistance with audio/visual learning guides and webinar trainings as well as telephone support. The program components can be purchased by NAADAC members at a special members price, a service that NAADAC is growing to provide more essential services to our members at a cost efficient price," stated NAADAC’s President, Don Osborn.

The NAADAC Preferred Vendor designation is given to vendors approved by the NAADAC Organizational Member Committee after research and pilot testing products.  NAADAC supports our members, students, professionals and organizational, with products and services to improve their own programs and build their professional capabilities.
