EVANSVILLE, IND. - The leader of the largest addiction counseling association in America is visiting Evansville to discuss the issues of conflict and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder with local professionals. Cynthia Moreno Tuohy, Executive Director of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. NAADAC, commonly known as the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, is presenting at the 27th Annual Institute for Alcohol and Drug Studies, hosted by the University of Evansville, on May 19, 2010.

Moreno Tuohy will address the issue of conflict resolution, with a particular focus on addiction and conflict, managing post-traumatic stress disorder and strategies for resolving conflict at work, at home and in relationships.

NAADAC represents 8,000 counselors throughout the nation, including several hundred in Indiana. The conference runs from May 17 to 19.
