The future of the addiction workforce will be the focus of an upcoming conference in Orlando, Fla. The conference will feature insights from such prominent speakers as William White, an historian who focuses on the impact of addiction; Neal A. McGarry, the Executive Director of the Florida Certification Board; Daniel L. Carzoli, the Manager of Matrix House Secure Drug Treatment and Cynthia Moreno Tuohy, the Executive Director of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals.
Addiction services professionals from Florida, and around the nation, will have access to seminars on HIV/AIDS, best practices in addiction treatment, criminal justice and addiction, pharmacotherapy and conflict resolution.
"This is a unique opportunity to offer excellent seminars on evidence based practices and on issues that has a significant impact on addiction services professionals," said Cynthia Moreno Tuohy, NCAC II, CCDC III, SAP, NAADAC's Executive Director.
The conference will offer twelve Continuing Education (CE) credits for various disciplines and professionals.
